Published by ETSI in June 2020, the DECT-2020 standard is an advanced wireless communication technology featuring mesh networking, ultra-low latency, local area network support, and seamless integration of a large number of IoT devices. Positioned as a next-generation technology beyond 5G and approaching 6G capabilities, it provides the scalable network infrastructure required by modern industries. The USWA project demonstrates the practical implementation of this standard across a range of industrial use cases, validating its performance in real-world applications.
