Development of a Platform for Secure and Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems

Funding Program: TÜBİTAK 1509 – International Industrial R&D Projects Support Program

Rising energy costs and the increasing demand for secure, intelligent energy management have accelerated the need for smarter energy infrastructures. Modern energy systems require connected, intelligent devices capable of securely exchanging information over the Internet while enabling seamless interoperability across distributed systems.

The TiOCPS project addresses these challenges by developing a secure cyber-physical platform that strengthens the connection between Internet-enabled physical devices and end-user energy systems. Its primary objective is to improve the security, reliability, and intelligence of energy management through advanced communication technologies and smart control mechanisms.

The project aims to establish an integrated energy framework that supports the needs of European energy stakeholders by enabling the development of innovative technologies and digital services. Core capabilities include predictive alert mechanisms, real-time data acquisition, and advanced services for energy providers and distribution operators.

Leveraging artificial intelligence, intelligent energy management algorithms, semantic ontology models, and optimization techniques, TiOCPS processes large-scale, heterogeneous data in real time to improve energy efficiency and operational decision-making. Self-protection mechanisms, collaborative control systems, and intelligent operational management ensure the stability, reliability, and resilience of energy generation, distribution, and consumption across modern smart energy networks.
